Public Travel Suggestions

Recommended train: 9:07am Metro North departing Grand central arriving South Norwalk Station 10:06AM.

Can pick you up at train station. Even if you have a car, traffic can be difficult on I-95 on Saturday.

Sandwiches and basic beverages will be provided. You will be expected to share in the lunch expense.

Weather does not cancel unless it's a safety issue. Bring clothes appropriate for the temperature (subtract ~10 degrees on water) Bring your favorite sunscreen. While we will try to stay on schedule, it is boating, so don't book opera tickets for immediately after.

This orientation will provide you with basic rules of safety on the water, general boating characteristics
as well as a basic understanding of sailing principles.
